Jomsom Muktinath Trek is one of the exciting trekking in Annapurna. Widely popular as the Lower Mustang Trek; this trek allows us to explore some of the best places in Annapurna. The trek starts with a scenic flight to Pokhara. Pokhara is the most beautiful city in Nepal as is widely popular as the city of lakes. From Pokhara, you will first take a short drive to Nayapul. Then the trek starts from there. Ulleri is a wonderful local settlement and offers greater views of Annapurna South. The next stop is Ghorepani which is one of the most popular trekking routes in Nepal. Plus, undeniably, it is one of the best mountain viewpoints. The inclusion of Poon Hill makes Jomsom Muktinath Trek even interesting. Poon Hill offers the best sunrise experience plus the best views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges. The next stop is Tatopani- the natural hot spring place where you can take a relaxing hot spring bath. Ghasa is a small village in the lap of the Himalayas.
Whereas, Marpha is much popular to its apple production. Due to the volume of apple production, Marpha is also popular as the apple village of Nepal. You can taste the fresh apple and also can try the apple wine if you are a wine lover in Marpha village. Kagbeni is popular with its fascinating landscapes. Kagbeni is also the entry point of the famous Upper Mustang Trek. And finally, you will reach Muktinath- the place of salvation. Muktinath is the pilgrimage to two religions- Buddhists and Hindus. The salvation place, Muktinath temple is beautifully built Nepali pagoda style temple. The 108 holy sprouts are one of the major attractions of Muktinath.

Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International airport; you will be welcomed by one of our representatives with the traditional Nepali garland. After the heartiest welcome, you will be transferred to the hotel in Thamel. In the free time you can take a good rest in your hotel.

The Kathmandu valley sightseeing is dedicated to explore the four of the UNESCO World Heritage-listed sites of Kathmandu. Those four sites you will be visiting are; Soyambhunath Temple, Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa and Kathmandu Durbar Square. After the sightseeing, you can then go and pack your trekking equipment. If you need any equipment then it can be either rented or can be bought in Thamel.

After the breakfast in the hotel, you will be picked up by your guide to start your journey to Pokhara. The bus travel from Kathmandu to Pokhara will be of six to seven hours journey. There will be several breaks for the toilet and a lunch break will be taken as well. Upon your arrival in Pokhara, you will be transferred to the hotel. In the free time, you can walk around the famous Phewa Lake and also collect the super views of mountains and the sunset from the Phewa lakeside.

You will be picked up from the Pokhara hotel after breakfast. You will then take a scenic drive to Nayapul via the famous mountain viewpoint of Sarangkot. Upon your arrival at Nayapul, your guide will do the permits check-in at the check post. From there; you will start your Ghorepani Poon Hill trek on foot. The route from Nayapul to Ulleri is mostly gradual uphill via small villages of Hile, Sudhame, and Tikhedhunga. There is a steep stoned paved uphill just before Ulleri. From Ulleri, you can see a wonderful view of Annapurna South (7,219m.) on a clear day.

Get the great sunrise view at Annapurna South before breakfast. Then grab the superbly prepared breakfast. And the begin the trekking to Ghorepani. The route from Ulleri to Ghorepani goes through the dense rhododendron forest and with some beautiful waterfalls along the way. Do the permit check-in at Lower Ghorepani again before hiking twenty minutes more to get Ghorepani. At Ghorepani, you can enjoy the superb views of Annapurna South and the Dhaulagiri range. The sunset also looks fantastic from Ghorepani.

Hike to Poon Hill to collect the best sunrise view. The viewpoint of Poon Hill offers the greatest views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri Himalayan range. Poon Hill also has a view tower to collect the wonderful sunrise view at the Himalayas. After the sunrise, you will then get back to Ghorepani for breakfast. Then, the trek to Tatopani begins. After about forty-five minutes walking; you will reach Deurali- which also offers the greater views of the mountains. The route goes through dense rhododendron forest to Tatopani. Tatopani is the place for natural hot spring. Take a relaxing hot spring bath.

The route from Tatopani then follows the Kali Gandaki near the deepest gorge. The Dana and Rupse Chahara is interesting to watch. With a scenic walk you will finally reach at Ghasa. Ghasa is a wonderful Thakali settlement and is also considered as the bird paradise.

Grab breakfast and resume the trip. The route first goes through the dense forest until Lete Khola. It then goes to Larjung then it crosses Tukche to reach Marpha village. Marpha village is popular as the apple village where you can taste the fresh apples and the different apple products.

The route first follows the valley side; then the gradual walk continues to the Jomsom ridge and climbs up to Jomsom. Jomsom is considered as a windy area. From Jomsom following the Kali Gandaki river; we finally reach Kagbeni, which is a wonderful local settlement.

The day to reach the final destination, the trail first goes to the checkpoint where you will do your permit check. The route then gradually rises up through the Kali Gandaki river bank to reach Khingar. Then the route climbs up to reach Muktinath. Explore the amazing Muktinath temple. Explore around the temple and collect the beautiful views of Himalayas.

Do Muktinath Darshan in the morning. Collect early morning views of the Himalayas. Then after, you will start your trek back to Jomsom. You will follow the same way back to Jomsom. From there you will be taking exciting flight back to Pokhara the next day.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport. From there you will be taking a scenic flight back to Pokhara. In Pokhara, you can explore the Pokhara city to witness the natural and man-made wonders of Pokhara city.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Pokhara tourist bus station. The journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu will be of six to seven hours bus drive. There will be several toilet breaks and a lunch break. Upon your arrival in Kathmandu, you will be transferred to the hotel. Later, you can do the last-minute shopping in Thamel.
