Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek 3 days is the shortest Poon Hill Trek itinerary. The trip to Poon Hill starts from Pokhara and ends back in Pokhara. This amazing easy trekking is designed for the travelers having less time but wishes to collect the best views of mountains plus to experience trekking. The 3 days Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek starts with a short drive to Nayapul. At Nayapul your guide will be doing the permit check-in before starting the trek. Then after, you will start your trek towards Ulleri via Tikhedhunga. On a clear day the beautiful views of Mount Fishtail can be seen on the way. The first day-night stop is Ulleri, which is a small local settlement. The glimpse of Annapurna south can be seen from Ulleri. From Ulleri, the route enters the dense rhododendron forest to get to Ghorepani. Ghorepani offers the best views of Mount Dhaulagiri and Mount Annapurna ranges. The sunset in the evening looks amazing from Ghorepani itself.
Poon Hill is the highest point you will get during the trek. Located at 3210 meters above the sea level, it offers the 360 views of the mountains. The sunrise in the Himalayas looks stunning from Poon Hill. After collecting the stunning sunrise view, you will then follow the same route back to Pokhara. The best season to trek Ghorepani Poon Hill is spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). Although Ghorepani Poon Hill can trek round the year. Two permits are needed to trek to Poon Hill. The permits needed for the trek are ACAP permit and TIMS card.

From Pokhara, you will first take a short drive to Nayapul. At Nayapul, your guide will do the permits check-in and you will start your hike to Ulleri. Start very early morning to hike to Poon Hill. The hike from Ghorepani to Poon Hill is about an hour. From Poon Hill, you can collect the best sunrise view in the Himalayas. The entire Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges can be seen from Poon Hill. After the greater views of mountains and the sunrise, you will retrace back to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast you will retrace the same way back to Ulleri. From Ulleri, you will be making the drive back to Pokhara.
