On arrival at Kathmandu Tribhuwan International Airport, received by our staff for transfer to your hotel, where our guide provides a briefing of the Hotel, Kathmandu, Trekking / Lodge on route with do's and don'ts with other necessary information.

Early morning transfer to Kathmandu domestic airport and then board in a smaller aircraft (twin otter or Dornier) for the scenic flight to Lukla. At Lukla received by our trekking guides with porters to carry your bigger bags with time to explore around, our first-day walk starts with gradual downhill and then with few ups with the view of Kusum-Kangru 6,369m. As the walk continues crossing short suspension bridge with short climb brings to reach Phakding village for overnight stop located near Dudh-Kosi River.

From Phakding on crossing bridge over Dudh-Kosi, morning walk with some short uphill and downhill and re-crossing the same river again with magnificent view of Thamserku 6,608m.

After few hours of walks reaching at Monjo village and then walk to the entrance of Sagarmatha National Park, (Sagarmatha for Everest in Nepali while Sherpa calls Chomolungma of Tibetan origin, both names means ‘Great-Mother’)From the Park gate short descend Jorsalle village, last village before Namche Bazaar is reached, walk leads on river bank within green forested areas of pines-oaks and rhododendron tree.

On reaching the last high bridge where walk leads on a wide winding uphill trail all the way to Namche Bazaar, with magnificent view of Kwangde, Kusum Kangru, Mt. Everest- Nuptse , Lhotse peaks on walk uphill.Namche Bazaar with excellent hotels and lodge situated in a U shaped bowl a major village / town of Khumbu region where colorful and busy Saturday Market is held every week.

Namche an ideal place for rest day for acclimatization and short hike, suggested activities walk to Sagarmatha National Park Headquarter, a magnificent spot perched on top Namche Bazaar with breathtaking view of surrounding high peaks with Mt. Everest and Ama-Dablam visit its interesting museum for wide information history of Himalayas, geographic, culture, mountaineering as well information on flora and fauna of the region, afternoon at free at leisure explore Namche Bazaar full of shops and stores.

Morning walks on a fairly easy trail for the first half, with few short ups and downs overlooking the magnificent view of Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, Thamserku, and Kwangde-Ri peaks. After a nice-pleasant walk of a few hours reaching Phungitenga 3,250m, a small settlement with a couple of teahouses in the midst of alpine forest with silver fir, blue pines, rhododendron, and some few magnolia and birch trees. 

Afternoon walk leads to a climb for nearly two hours in the shade of tall trees till Thyangboche Monastery ( Ghompa) is reached for the overnight stop. This beautiful spot offers views of majestic and beautiful Mt. Ama Dablam with Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse and Lhotse Shar towards the northeast.

After a wonderful time at Thyangboche, our route descend into forest of birch, fir, juniper and rhododendron ,coming to lovely spot at Deoboche 3,650 m with magnificent view of Mt Ama Dablam, Mt. Everest, Nuptse and Lhotse. 

From Deoboche walk past prayer mani wall, and then reach a metal bridge over a narrow gorge of Imja-Tse River. From the bridge uphill walk most of the way to Pangboche village at 3,900m (the last permanent village on route base camp).After Pangboche a short climb to Shomare for lunch, a small settlement with excellent view of Ama-Dablam. After a pleasant stop journey continues towards east, after an hour walk crossing a small wooden bridge and then heading towards beautiful Imjatse valley for overnight stop at Dingboche village.

Dingboche located within scenic Imja-Tse valley beneath Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lhotse with views of Island peak or Imja Tse Himal above 6,189m high, a popular peak amongst all trekking peaks in Nepal. Dingboche with nice farm field enclosed by stone walls protecting crops of barley, buckwheat’s and potatoes from the cold wind and grazing animals, Dingboche with many good lodges to stay.

At Dingboche another rest day for short hike with few nice areas for short hikes up the hill for best glamorous views of the valley and mountains with Mt. Makalu towards east direction.

Morning an easy short day walk to Chukung at 4,760 m high, a small settlement within Imjatse valley offers incredible views of Island Peak, Lhotse Shar, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Amadablam. Afternoon relax with an optional hike up to Chhukung-Ri at above approx: 5,100 m high.

After a pleasant stop in Chhukung, the adventure starts early morning to traverse over the first pass of the journey. Walk past Bibre in between Dingboche and Chhukung areas, and then our route diverts on 'off the beaten trail' heading north beneath the towering peak of Lhotse and Nuptse. 

Leading to a steep climb over moraine on top of Kongma-la, in between Kongma peak (also called as Mehra) and Pokalde peaks, after a rest and shortstop on top 5,535 m / 18,159 ft high pass, then descend to reach Khumbu glacier and moraine as walk continues on glacier following our guide leading you safely to Lobuche for overnight stop in the comfort of a nice and cozy lodge.

Today, the adventure leads at the foot of Mt. Everest, first-hour walk on the gradual path with slow up and then short 20 minutes climb to reach a moraine above Khumbu glacier. Walk from here follows on rocky moraine path to Gorakshep, located on a flat sandy field below Kalapatthar 5,545m and Mt. Pumori 7,145m. 

Gorakshep with few lodge and teahouses, this place was an earlier base camp of Everest till the end of the 1980’s. After a break here continues trek to Everest Base Camp, the walk is quite strenuous due to high altitude and thin air, where the trail leads over rocky dunes and moraine and streams, till Everest base camp is reached after 3 hrs of the walk from Gorakshep.
Everest Base Camp is lively during high expedition season here enjoy a view of massive Khumbu icefalls and glaciers with series of giant peaks of Nuptse-Lola. After a wonderful time at base camp then retrace the journey back to Gorakshep for an overnight stop.

Early morning climb on top Kalapathar a rocky hill at an altitude above 5,545 m, the highest spot of the adventure with a fantastic panorama of mountains facing Mt. Everest at close distance. After a great moment with excellent views descend back to Gorakshep for breakfast and continue to walk to Lobuche, from here downhill to Dzongla a scenic small settlement at the base of Tsho-la (Chop-la) pass.

An exciting day crossing over the second high pass of the adventure, early morning climb leads to Tsho-la pass (Chola), on completing early breakfast following a path with steep up and then crossing a glacier.

On reaching top of the pass at 5,367 m high, sometimes the climb can be quite tough and challenging in snow conditions, Tsho-la pass provides fabulous views of mountains with Cholatse Glacier, from here descend carefully to Thagnak or also called as Dragnak for overnight stop, after a tough climb over Cho-la pass, Thagnak located at 4,750 m a small isolated place with few small lodges.

Today morning walk leads on easy gradual path to Gokyo Lake located beneath Ngozumba glacier and then coming across first lake, walking further passing second lake to reach third lake or Gokyo Lake (also called as Dudh Pokhari) considered as holy pond by both Hindu and Buddhist, Gokyo an early summer grazing place for Yaks and wild animals facing fabulous views of Mt. Cho Oyo and Gyachung Kang, reflecting on the calm waters of Gokyo Lake, at Gokyo with afternoon free to relax or for short walks.

Morning hike to Gokyo-Ri 5,357m, offers a panorama of the world’s highest peaks from Mt. Cho Oyo, Gyachung Kang, Mt. Everest, Mt. Lhotse, Cholatse, Taweche and to the east rises Mt. Makalu. After a mesmerizing time at Gokyo Ri and then descend to Gokyo with the rest of the day free with rest before the climb over our final third Renjo-La pass next early morning.

Last final high pass to cross over Renjo-la, morning walk follows at the end of Gokyo Lake, with superb views of Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Cholatse and Taboche peaks, and then a steep climb to reach at Renjo La pass 5,465 m / 17,929 ft high, one of the most difficult section of this adventure, on reaching the top with fantastic panorama of Mt. Cho-Oyu and other high surrounding peaks.

After a pleasant stop walk descends reaching a frozen pond beneath Renjo La pass, and then downhill to Lungdhen for an overnight stop, located near on route of Nangpa-la pass that leads to Tibet border.

After successful crossing and traverse of all three high passes of Everest around the Khumbu area, morning walk leads downhill to Marlung village and then with pleasant walk reaching at Thame village for an overnight stop. Thame a quaint village located western end of Khumbu and Everest region, where few trekkers seldom visit Thame, only when taking the route of Renjo-la or crossing Tashi-Labtsa a high pass that separates Rolwaling valley and Khumbu area.

With time in the afternoon visit Thame monastery, one of the most important and oldest Gompa believed to be more than 500 years old.

Morning walk leads to a short descend reaching Bhote Kosi River and then on gradual trail reaching Thamo, from here back into tree lines of pines-firs and rhododendron woodland and then reaching at Namche Bazaar for overnight stop in the comfort of nice lodge, with afternoon free at leisure.

From Namche our last day walk of the adventure leads to a long descend on same route towards Sagarmatha National Park entrance to reach at Monjo village, from here on gentle gradual trail crossing bridges to reach Phakding.From Phakding on the way to Lukla with few ups and downhill with last and final climb of an hour to Lukla for last overnight stop in Khumbu and Everest region.

The flight time to Kathmandu, schedule at morning normally, sometimes flight can get delayed due to bad weather and other reason, depending upon flight time board in a small aircraft for super flight back to Kathmandu and then you can-do last-minute shopping in Thamel.
